Zinio - The World's Magazine Newsstand App Reviews

I love Zinio plain and simple. I can get magazines I love for good prices, across different platforms and devices. I love the interactive features that are exclusive to the zinio editions of magazines. I am a collector, and if I had all the space I needed I would love to collect the hard copies of magazines, save them, reminisce with them. I can do all of that with Zinio except my 2 daughters both under the age of 3 cant destroy my Zinio magazines. They may spill water on my phone but that leaves my iPad etc....I would like to see the library expand to include more titles especially when it comes to sports. You can get the big all inclusive magazines like ESPN, but you cant get The Ring if you are a boxing fan or the Bowling Journal if you are a bowling fan etc... But I really enjoy the magazines I subscribe to on Zinio. Its great now and can only get better.

Works great on my iPhone and iPad. Just wish Apple would not tread on the 1st amendment by limiting what magazines are viewable.

What a great magazine app. Easy, great layout, convenient. I love using it, it looks great and fits my needs. Id recommend it. Helps my efforts to declutter without losing my ability to keep what I want.

What more is there to say about an app which allows you to carry your magazines around with you. I currently subscribe to 5 electronic magazines and they are all right there when I want them. No more lost magazines or looking all over the place for them. I always check to see if there is an electronic version when renewing a magazine. Is it perfect? No because all my magazine dont come in electronic form. Hopefully they will eventually. There are a few enhancements Id like to see. Id like to be able to bookmark my position with a label and possible underline things. When you read a great article in an computer magazine it would be nice to find it some months later without reread several magazines and then having to reread the entire article for two lines. Until that happens, I still keep the paper copies that subscription provides me. I currently use Zinio on my iPhone and iPad. It gets the most use on my iPad, but I have several smaller magazines which are perfect on my iPhone when it needed.

Ive always been addicted to magazines - fashion, technology, current events,Zinio delivers it all. I will not be without this app.

I have been a zinio user/subscriber since 2006. I have been using the windows/pc version for many years, and recently transitioned to the iPad. I can read all of my subscriptions going back to 2006 both on my pc & on my iPad. I wish the application can have an ADJUSTABLE FONT option and automatic repagination like the NYT, WSJ, ECONOMIST applications. Zooming pages detracts from the reading experience. Thanks.

Just about all my favorite magazines are here. App is a little squirrelly, eg getting back issues to show.

This is a great app. Even more importantly to me, the Zinio support staff is top notch, responsive, and effective. Pretty impressive combination in my opinion.

Love this app all my magazines in one place and no print version clutter

After all these years Zinio is still not user friendly. The library layout is ugly and confusing. Pricing seems higher if you subscribe in-app vs. on their website, e.g. the PlayStation Magazine. Bookmarks dont work properly. Hard to find what you want to find in a magazine. Ive used Zinio since their beginning and Im still disappointed.

Quick to download, easy to read. Great to carry all my favorite mags to read anytime, anywhere. Very cool.

This App represents a singular achievement. It is, hands down, the most egregious reading experience on any platform anywhere. Scanned magazine pages? Id rather read with a jpeg viewer. I had to purchase the print version of harpers so that I could read the web version with safari. meanwhile, my zinio purchases languish, abandoned in favor of their web versions.

Remember when you saved stacks of Technical Magazines because you might want to re-read an article? With Zinio you have access to all your old issues, as well as the new, your Library is in the Cloud. Love it!!!

I love the fact that I can store many issues of my favorite magazines and they are available to me to browse whenever I have extra time...waiting here or there, planes, etc. No clutter on my coffee table with unread magazines!

Most of my favorite publications have begun offering digital versions. Zinio is by far my favorite, mainly because the app and publications are not such space hogs on my IPad. Occasionally I have to remove a few issues, but they are easily restored when I want them back. Many of my pubs are craft magazines that have continuing value. Zinio offers great value. And once in a while when something goes wrong, customer service is very good to help find & fix the problem with prompt response & follow-up.

Except for the annoying pop up to rate the app Every time you open it.
