Zinio - The World's Magazine Newsstand App Reviews

Cant say how many times Ive donwloaded all my magazines, sit down on a plane, and they all show as in the cloud and have to be downloaded again. Some of the ones on my iPad at the moment Ive downloaded a dozen times. They used to have something called a Zpass, which there is no way to really configure without great frustration via the web site or the app. I usually have to chat with a support person to make changes to it. The interface is idiotic in that you view by year, instead of just showing everything. So every year from November to February I have to keep switching between 2 years to even see what I have on my iPad. This has been going on for years and its inexcusable. Magazines should be an amazing experience on the iPad, but they actually make me long for the simple days of paper issues.

We use it all the time while traveling, saves lots of pounds in weight in luggage not taking physical mags and books.

Get email updates that new issues are available but when I open the app they are not there for weeks! Have to open/close app several times and sometimes I can get the new issues to appear. When this subscription is over Im done with zinio.

So nice to have magazines that dont cost half my rent. Still dont totally understand my librarys Zinio checkout system.

Love to read my magazines on this app. Especially while relaxing on vacation.

I travel for work so this makes my magazine reading soooo enjoyable!! Just need to carry my iPad, not a pile of heavy magazines!!

Good app keeping many magazines in one place. It worked with my library to provide lots of free good magazines.

I used to have stacks upon stacks of magazines taking up space until I would finally break down and throw them away. Now I can subscribe to almost all of my magazines without the waste and guilt of killing trees. One minor issue: my magazine list does not always update automatically. I assume this is a bug that has gone unresolved for a while now.

App is great when it works, but for the last few months, magazines added to my account on the Zinio website do not show up on the Zinio app for hours and sometimes days. This used to be instantaneous in previous versions but is now broken. Please fix the sync!

Easy to download and read. Too pushy with adverts and promo - need to better target promo and offers based on customer interest

I have been using Zinio since the first iPad 5 years ago with no issue

Keeps asking me to login every time I open the app. My purchased magazines are all gone.
